Argentine Star Footballer Aguero Launches His own Esports Organisation: KRÜ Esports

Argentine Footballer Sergio Aguero who is the star striker in Manchester City has founded himself in the esports scene by starting his own esports organization KRÜ Esports.

Sergio Aguero after his long time out from an injury earlier this year started streaming and become a prominent Twitch Streamer in 2020. Understanding the potential and fun in esports he launches the organization as CEO and founder. In the official reveal trailer of KRÜ Esports’, titles such as League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and FIFA were delicately featured by Aguero himself. In the trailer different continents were highlighted showing the organization bases in South America (Argentina), North America and Europe (Barcelona).

Sergio Aguero is not the first professional footballer to enter the esports arena. Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta, Tottenham forward Gareth Bale, and former England midfielder David Beckham have all launches their own esports venture in the recent years.

In official website of KRÜ Esports’ it is stated that, “a work family passionate about video games, not only with our players and content creators, but with all the staff and the community that we will build. We want to add to the esports scene with our imprint. Not only from the professional, sports and commercial aspects but also in destigmatizing the socio-cultural vision that is usually had in relation to video games.”

It was also highlighted that “With a company incorporated in Argentina and another in Barcelona, KRÜ will seek to be a bridge between the different regions, motivating to have no ceiling in terms of the goals that each one sets for himself.”

Brands like AMDA, AOROUS, TWITCH has partnered with this organization as sponsors.

In KRÜ Esports homepage a timer is currently visible indicating more information on future is yet to come.
