Assassin’s Creed Crossover Content is Included in PUBG Update

Assassin’s Creed Crossover Content is Included in PUBG Update 19.1. Assassin’s Creed and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have joined forces for a limited-time cooperation event that includes new emotes, gun charms, parachutes, outfits, and even the classic “leap of faith” ledge jump. With the 19.1 update, PUBG: Battlegrounds will receive new tactical gear, as well as a new weapon and vehicle.

Despite its humble origins as a mod for ARMA 2 in 2013, PUBG: Battlegrounds rapidly became a worldwide success, influencing an entire generation of battle royale games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Warzone. As an online live-service game, PUBG releases new material on a regular basis to shake up the gameplay, as well as frequent patches aiming at balancing, bug fixing, optimization, and incorporating new features. The promise of something new on the horizon is part of the allure of live-service games, and PUBG has a reputation for producing surprisingly innovative updates.

The Abstergo Corporation from Assassin’s Creed enters the Haven map in Update 19.1, taking possession of one of the map’s buildings. Players with keen eyes will notice a concealed Animus machine, as well as one of Assassin’s Creed’s famous “leap of faith” ledges carefully placed on the building’s rooftop. New Assassin’s Creed-themed cosmetic prizes, like as outfits, bag skins, a parachute skin, an emote, and more, may be obtained during gameplay. This is also the first time that the Haven map has appeared since Season 16.

Several new PUBG items have also been included in the update

The new MP9 weapon is now accessible on the Deston map. It is the first full-auto SMG that utilizes 9mm ammunition, providing gamers with a viable option to weapons such as the P90 due to a more common cartridge type. In order to compensate, the MP9 has a somewhat shorter effective range, a lower firing rate, and less damage than the P90. The Folded Shield, a new item, may now be discovered on any map. This movable deployable cover has 1500 HP and allows players to take cover in open areas. The new Blue Chip Detector is a main weapon slot that searches for adversaries within 100m and displays nearby foes as dots on the map. The Pillar Security Car, a new vehicle with customizable lights and sirens, has a top speed of 81mph (130km/h), and players may locate high-quality equipment in the trunk.

PUBG has already collaborated with other brands, such as the Resident Evil and PUBG Mobile crossover in 2019 and the PUBG meets Hot Pockets promotional event earlier this year. The Assassin’s Creed crossover event will be place on PC from August 9 to September 6, and on consoles from August 17 to September 14.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
