Dreamocel Leaves BOOM Esports!

The organization announced December 5,2020 that Randy “Dreamocel” Sapoetra is leaving BOOM Esports after a nearly four-year stint with the Dota 2 team.

Dreamcell was part of the first roster taken by BOOM Sports in January 2017, then known as BOOM ID. His time with Org is currently marked by the 22-year-old first professional tenure with the Pro-Dota 2 team. The decision to differentiate came through mutual agreement, the agency said in a press release. Although this decision is a bit bitter, we must do it to achieve our dreams. “I truly thank Randy for his dedication and always remember him as the greatest player of all time in Boom history,” said Gary Ongko Putera, CEO of Boom Sports. Finally, a lot of things were considered before I decided to part ways with BOOM. “I have many memorable moments, happy or sad… we’ve finally made it to the SSA and the international scene,” Dreamcell said.

Boom is one of the leading Dota 2 teams in Indonesia.  With Dreamcell, the roster has established itself in Southeast Asia as a solid tier- two team, with fourth place in the Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor in March, this year in the Dota Pro Circuit rankings.  The team has also claimed a total of four silver medals in various tournaments during the recent offline season. With the team’s roster being strictly Indonesian throughout its four-year history, other star countrymen may already be ready to join the fight in the boom.  Former player Muhammad “InYordiumm” Rizki, he had previously left the organization and rejoined the organization, will be considered.  One of the highest-ranked pubstar in Southeast Asia consistently, Mid Lener was unveiled by T1 last week.
