PUBG Pro Mobile League 2020 is a PUBG Mobile professional league for the South Asia region. The league features teams from India ,Pakistan & South Asia. The Split was culminated at the PUBG Mobile World Championship 2020. A total of twenty teams from Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh came together to compete for the $200,000 prize pool and the available top three spots in the PUBG Mobile World League.
This season Indian team couldn’t participate because PUBG was banned in their country. To fill up these slot top team from PMCO 2020 was invited. As a result, two teams from Bangladesh ‘Venom Legends’ and ‘A1 Esports’ got the opportunity to participate in PMPL 2020. One team from Bangladesh name Ines was already secured their slot in PMPL 2020.
PMPL SA 2020 first round started on 15th October, 2020. The tournament featured the top 16 teams from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, all fighting it out for a $142,500 prize pool. There were five groups and each group has four team. Top 16 teams went to the final round. Bad luck for Ines, they didn’t get the chance to qualify for final round. Final round started on 5th November, 2020. Final round was four days match and each team played five matches per day. In the overall leaderboard of the PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 2 South Asia finals, Abrupt Slayers scored 212 points with 91 kills. After them DRS Gaming was the runner-up, with 98 kills and 207 points, while A1 Esports secured third place with 91 kills and 189 points. 7Sea Esports made a comeback to finish in the fourth place with 176 points and 74 kills, while DRS Nima was awarded the MVP of the finals gong with 5953 damage and 30 kills.
The top three teams from the PMPL Season 2 South Asia qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020 (PMGC 2020), a 2 million USD global event scheduled from 24th November to 20th December, in which the top 24 teams around the world will battle it out. The best thing is that from Bangladesh “A1 Esports” has qualified for “PUBG Mobile Global Championship” (PMGC 2020). Well played Sinister, Jax,Dante, 6NIN3 &Shoikot. This is the first time any Bangladeshi team is playing in PMGC. Best luck to them.
