Martin “Rekkles” Larsson- The king of the North, quits Fnatic. Rekkles himself informed the organisation about his decision to leave to sign for another team in this offseason period. With this Rekkles ended his career with Fnatic where he was for 8 long years and almost 600 games in the black and orange jersey.
Fnatic did offer Martin “Rekkles” Larsson a resign offer earlier in this season. The offer was the largest Fnatic has ever made to a player- including a long term plan for his future after his playing career. Martin’s decision to pursue excellency over financial gain was appreciated by most of Fnatic fan. But fans were heartbroken and disappointed with this news. Rekkles in his official Facebook page posted saying sorry to fans for his sudden decision.
Fnatic appreciates Rekkles contribution in their announcement stating that: “Now we turn to a new chapter for Fnatic, and one we’re ready and excited to commence. Our time with Martin has been long and successful, we could not be more proud of what he has achieved in the Black and Orange.”
Taking this situation as a turning point Fnatic declared that they are going to reveal their plans for the years ahead will be released in the coming days.
Most interesting part is that Fnatic finished their announcement quoting: “The next time we meet, we meet as opponents. See you on the rift, Martin. Your legacy will be #ALWAYSFNATIC”
So, are we going to see them battle in League of Legend wild rift –soon?
