Singapore to Host the First Major Offline Esports Tournament (SEA) in 2021: MLBB M2 Championship

Recently Moonton has announced the annual Mobile Legends World Championship. The official name of this event will be MLBB M2 World Championship. Singapore will host this championship in the coming year. The total prize pool of this tournament is $300,000 USD and the best teams from all over the world will be competing for it.

This event will be held offline in January 2021 in Singapore at the Shangri-la hotel. Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association are supporting this event. This year Singapore was not able to host a DOTA 2 major because of Covid 19 so It is a great importance for Singapore because this MLBB M2 World Championship will be the first-ever major offline esports tournament in Southeast Asia in 2021.

Moonton has not published any details of the tournament and about the participating teams but some recent MPL winners (Todak, Bren Esports, and RQQ Hoshi) will participate. More details will be published by Moonton very soon.
