As many as 12 teams are competing in the Arena of Valor International Championship 2023 for a total prize pool of $500,000 USD in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Arena of Valor International Championship 2023 started on November 30 and will run till December 24 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Organised by popular online game developer Garena, the Arena of Valor International Championship 2023 is the seventh iteration under the AIC franchise.

The A-Tier eSports tournament has been descaled to feature only teams in the Garena Region for the first time under the AIC franchise.

Furthermore, this will be the first AIC with no involvement from either Level Infinite or TiMi Studios.

Vietnam’s V Gaming won the last edition of the Arena of Valor International Championship in 2022.

The Arena of Valor International Championship 2023 is divided into two stages: group and knockout.

The tournament’s Group Stage will take place from November 30 to December 10.

According to the structure, the 12 participating teams were divided into two groups of six teams each (Group A and Group B).

The Group Stage matches are played in a single round, best-of-three format.

Each group’s top four teams will proceed to the Knockout Stage.

The Knockout Stage will be a double elimination bracket event. Knockout Stage Round 1 matches will be best-of-five series, while the subsequent matches will be best-of-seven series.

All matches follow the Global Ban Pick Rule.

The Arena of Valor International Championship 2023 has a total prize pool of $500,000. The total prize pool has been decreased from $1,685,000, which was offered last year.
