G2 Esports Announces Gambling Partner M88 Mansion, Rocket League Partner Stride

European esports organisation G2 Esports has announced a partnership with Asian gambling company M88 Mansion. As a result, M88 Mansion will become G2 Esports’ official betting partner for its Counter-Strike and Dota 2 teams.

The relationship between G2 Esports and M88 Mansion will use G2’s Counter-Strike and Dota 2 teams to emphasize the M88 brand through a variety of activations, watch parties, and competitions for M88 fans. The specifics of the activations were not revealed.

M88 Mansion is an online gambling and betting platform established in the Philippines. The site joined with Vietnamese esports organization 335CauGlay in January 2023 with the purpose of enhancing the organization’s internet exposure. M88 Mansion also signed with Talon Esports in 2022, becoming the primary title sponsor of its Dota 2 squad.

As G2 Esports’ gambling partner, M88 Mansion looks to have replaced Counter-Strike skin gambling and trading portal CSGORoll. G2 joined with CSGORoll in May 2023, but the collaboration generated community backlash. G2 seems to have silently withdrawn CSGORoll as a partner by August 2023, having deleted announcement articles and removing mentions to CSGORoll as a partner.

On December 7th, G2 Esports announced a partnership with tournament and grassroots esports platform Stride. G2 stated that the arrangement with Stride would’support all levels of Rocket League esports, from amateur to pro’.

The Stride agreement includes an in-game car decal with the Stride logo as well as jersey placement on the G2’s Rocket League jerseys. G2 Rocket League and Stride’s social media channels will include collaborative branding. ‘G2 Stride’ is another name for the organization’s Rocket League lineup.

The collaborations come as G2 Esports expands outside of Europe. G2 announced its entrance into China and Dota 2 earlier today through a cooperation with Chinese esports organization Invictus Gaming. Furthermore, on December 5th, G2 announced a’strategic relationship’ with Version1’s ownership group to acquire a Call of Duty League franchise club in North America.

G2 Esports has around 16 partners in their partnership portfolio. M88 Mansion and Stride join G2’s portfolio of partners, which includes financial giant Mastercard, fashion business Ralph Lauren, and alcohol brand Jägermeister.
