Champion of Champions(CS2) Tour details $500,000 2024 Global Finals

The Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), a Counter-Strike 2 esports circuit commissioned by game data provider GRID, has revealed information about its Global Finals in 2024.

The CCT Global Finals 2024 will take conducted online from May 16th to 24th, with teams competing for a total prize pool of $500,000 (~£400,000).
The tournament will include 16 teams, 11 of which qualified through the CCT Studio Finals and online CCT Finals events. The remaining five will be personally invited. The full list of invited teams has yet to be revealed, but it is likely to be made public within the next week. Because of the uncertainty surrounding teams’ inability to field complete rosters, the team list is also subject to change.

The Champions of Champions Tour made its Counter-Strike debut in the summer of 2022, when the organisers introduced the 18-month circuit, which will take place in both the Americas and Europe. GRID and its partners, FACEIT, Eden Esports, Relog Media, Fantyasyexpo, and Black Molly Entertainment, collaborated with local tournament organisers to host the $1.8 million (~£1.4 million) online cups stage.

The online events were followed by the Studio Finals, which consisted of 11 offline events. The CCT circuit has reached its last step, the Global Finals, which will take place in May of this year.

Fabian Logemann, Head of Tournament Operations at GRID, the tournament’s organiser, said: “The CCT 2022/2023 season was a major endeavour, and the response from the community, teams, talent, and our partners was tremendously satisfying and humbling.

“We’re thrilled to conclude the first Tour with Global Finals in May, and while online, we can’t wait to put on a show to crown the Champion of Champions. The team and I would want to thank the fans, players, talent, and all of our valued partners for making the CCT a success!”
