Fortnite conducts a variety of events throughout the year, allowing fans to celebrate and commemorate every significant occasion and holiday on their calendar. In February, they unveiled the Guardian Lin skin to commemorate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon. Now it’s time to cheer on the Lantern Festival.
This guide will tell players everything they need to know about Fortnite’s 2024 Lantern Fest events, ensuring that they don’t miss anything.
Lantern Fest Event Start and End Dates
The Fortnite Lantern Fest event runs from March 10 at 12 PM ET to April 10 at 12 PM ET. Players who are concerned about missing out on the celebrations can rest easy knowing they have a full month to participate.
Last year, players were able to play on the Lantern Fest Tour Creative Island and accomplish challenges for rewarding rewards. This year, there’s a completely new island to explore. Players can access the Lantern Fest Oasis map by entering the island code 5629-9147-3382. They will be able to execute tasks in exchange for experience points.
At the time, Epic Games has not stated whether or not free goodies will be distributed to those who participate in the event, so the only reward gamers could expect is some XP, which isn’t too awful given how many players are attempting to unlock the first few pages of the Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass.
Anwar and Noorah Lantern Festival Skins
The previously leaked Anwar and Noorah skins will become available in the Item Shop during the Lantern Fest event. The mysterious couple did not enter the Item Shop when the event began, but they may return several times during the month it is running.
The price of these skins has yet to be revealed. Epic Games has only stated that those who purchase the Anwar skin will receive the Moonlit Blades back bling, while those who purchase the Noorah skin will receive the Lunar Lantern back bling; both skins feature detailed LEGO Fortnite skins.
Gamers should also expect SypherPK to return to the Item Shop. In addition, SirSANX has produced his own locker bundle, which will be available in the Item Shop during the Lantern Festival.
