Hi-Fi Rush finally has a PS5 release date—and it’s way sooner than you think

The wait to brawl to the music is nearly over.

Bethesda’s 2023 rhythm brawler Hi-Fi Rush, which was previously limited to Microsoft, is now available on PlayStation 5—and Sony console owners won’t have to wait much longer.
The news is finally out. Hi-Fi Rush will be available for PlayStation 5 on March 18, 2024, a little more than a year after its initial release on PC and Xbox. PlayStation users got a look at the main character and story in an announcement trailer that was posted on February 21. While there was no in-game footage, the fact that it’s coming to the system is ramping up excitement. The title debuted to critical praise and a positive response from Xbox fans.
The trailer also cites a March 19 release date, but those in the Western hemisphere are actually a little earlier: The game begins at 12am UTC on Tuesday, March 19, which is 6pm CT on March 18. Bethesda announced that the PS5 edition will “include all gameplay updates and modes,” including the Arcade Challenge! The clip also hinted to an update. All Costume Pack DLC will be available upon launch.

Beginning February 22, Hi-Fi Rush will be available for preorder on the PlayStation Store, featuring a Digital Deluxe Edition with “extra cosmetics andGears to spend on upgrades.” Here are all the goods included.

  • Two Chai Outfits which include hairstyle, scarf, jacket, pants, and shoes. Each item can be mixed with other cosmetics.
  • Seven bonus Chai T-shirts.
  • 808-Themed Guitar Skin.
  • 808 Alternate Skin.
  • Gears Starter Pack, which has 20,000 Gears for unlocking combat skills and upgrades. Other than here, Gears are not normally available for purchase.
