Lucasfilm and Psyonix announced today that characters and symbols from The Mandalorian would appear in Rocket League as part of a special limited-time event called Mandalorian Mayhem. Mandalorian Mayhem, which runs from February 7 to 21, will include a slew of cosmetic surprises as well as a new mode for fans of Disney+’s smash series. Watch the trailer below.
Players can look forward to challenges that will unlock Mandalorian-inspired toppers (such as Mando’s helmet, jetpack, and Grogu), Player Banners, and other goodies. The Item Shop will have Din Djarin and Boba Fett decals, as well as Mythosaur Wheels, a Whistling Birds Goal Explosion, and other items. Finally, in the new 3v3 Limited Time Mode, G-Force Frenzy, automobiles will zoom into the air while competing. Mandalorian Mayhem will be Rocket League’s second Star Wars-themed event, following last May’s droid-focused release. Rocket League, which is available for free on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, is a critically acclaimed sports-action video game in which players control cars equipped with rocket boost abilities, allowing them to soar, in a high-speed and high-flying game of football, or Soccar.
