During the Esports Hall of Fame 2023 Induction Ceremony, organized by the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) and funded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, T1 LoL was named Esports Team of the Year.
At the ceremony, several players from the esports group got individual honors.The event, held on December 19 at Seoul’s S-Plex Center Building, recognizes players that made significant contributions to domestic and international esports tournaments in 2023.

T1 was honored in KeSPA’s Esports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony with the following awards:

- 2023 Stars – Choi “Zeus” Woo-je
- 2023 Stars – Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok
- 2023 Stars – Ryu “Keria” Min-seok
The ceremony recognized exceptional players from a variety of esports titles in addition to League of Legends.
Three-time Tekken EVO champion Bae “Knee” Jae-Min, FC Online star Kwak “KWAK” Jun-hyouk, and Street Fighter pro Kim “M.Lizard” Gwan-woo are among those mentioned.
The Esports Hall of Fame’s Stars category honorees were decided by a fan vote, with an astounding turnout of almost 20,000 people — roughly four times more than the previous year.
Nominees were chosen based on their performances during the year in both home and international contests.The nominations for Zeus, Faker, and Keria come as no surprise given the outstanding exploits of T1 LoL players in 2023.
The trio represented Korea at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China, winning gold for their country.
The three also contributed to T1 LoL’s victory in Worlds 2023. At the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, the squad defeated Weibo Gaming by a score of 3-0.
T1 and its League of Legends player lineup finished the year with an impressive collection of awards.
T1 was named Esports Team of the Year at the Esports Awards 2023, while Faker was named Esports PC Player of the Year.
Faker was named Best Esports Athlete at The Game Awards 2023, adding to his record of accomplishments.The success continued in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) LCK Awards 2023.
