Back to where it all began! M6 World Championship to be held in Malaysia next year

See you there!

Malaysian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang enthusiasts can look forward to something new next year.

The M6 World Championship will be held in the country. The news was made prior to the grand final match of the M5 World Championship between ONIC Esports and AP Bren.

This will be Malaysia’s second M-Series event, following the M1 World Championship, when Indonesia’s EVOS Legends won the inaugural world championship trophy.

According to Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia YB Adam Adli, hosting the M-series for the second time is an honour for the country.

“This achievement is not just for a single person, but for all Malaysians,” the prime minister remarked.

“M6 will be a momentous occasion for our nation, and we are eager to welcome players, fans, and enthusiasts from around the globe.”

In 2019, the M1 World Championship took place at the Axiata Arena in the country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. In the grand final, EVOS Legends pulled off a come-from-behind 4-3 victory against fellow Indonesian team RRQ Hoshi.

Last year, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2022 (MSC 2022) returned to the country’s capital. In the grand final, RSG Philippines emerged victorious after sweeping RRQ Hoshi, 4-0.

The M6 World Championship will start in November.
